Songs are a beautiful and integral part of Gaelic culture. There are many differnt kinds of songs in the Gaelic tradition; fast songs, slow songs, happy songs and sad songs work songs and love songs. It can be daunting for learners to try and memorize songs where the words are unfamiliar.
These sessions will help you learn songs easily. You will start by learning the words a little at a time with lots of review and then build up the words with the music together. At the end of the four weeks you will be confident in the words and the tune. This is a great way to learn a song for fun or to sing at your next ceilidh.
